Goals:

This course provides an awareness of global, economic, social and environmental issues as well as an understanding and appreciation of professional and ethical behavior in industrial engineering through an interaction between students and practitioners from industrial, government and academic organizations.

 

Objectives:

·         To make students understand the impact of engineering work in a global and social context.

·         To help students understand the concepts of ethics and professionalism.

·         To allow students interact with experts drawn from industrial, technical, academic and government communities.

·         To allow students learn the specific work situation of the guest and the real world problems that may be encountered.
